Do I need a GP referral?
Some insurers require a GP referral or authorisation before a specialist consultation. Self-pay patients should contact the practice to confirm what information is needed.
What are the consultation fees?
The listed self-pay fees are £230 for an initial consultation and £150 for a follow-up consultation.
Are tests and procedures included in the consultation fee?
No. Hospital, endoscopy, anaesthetic, pathology, imaging, medication or procedure costs may be separate unless confirmed in writing.
Which insurers are accepted?
Patients should check the insurance page and confirm authorisation directly with their insurer before attending.
What should I bring to an appointment?
Please bring referral letters, previous test results, medication lists, insurer details and authorisation codes where relevant.
Can I use the website for urgent symptoms?
No. For urgent or emergency symptoms, call 999, NHS 111 or attend A&E as appropriate.
